Date

Location
Montville, QLD, Australia
The Flora and Fauna Sanctuary Montville, is an exciting new project that broke ground on January 26, 2024. Our goal is to restore 24 acres of land using composition (typical species), structure or strata eg: canopy, mid-storey and ground cover etc... and function to naturally re-generate the Gubbi-Gubbi land to a state before logging, creating a sanctuary designed for the survival of endemic animals and plants, down to the worms and wood roaches. With planting designs focused on ensuring a year-round supply of bush tucker and habitat, we aim to create a thriving natural environment for all endemic species to flourish.
